Running completely in the browser, in this Beta 2 release of the product you’ll be able to setup and configure MS SQL Server tables and views in minutes. The Lightning Tools Team prepared two screencasts showing the tool in action so you can check them out!

So what does this mean for BDC Meta Man? Not everything can be done in the browser, such as generating write back web parts, so The Lightning Tools is continuing with a windows and a web application. This is just as much about choice – some companies will prefer the windows application, some the browser.
