Spring 2018 events

The conference season is open again! Next two months will be somewhat busy and I am looking forward to travel a bit, see some dear friends and talk about some new things we do at Microsoft. So, what’s coming up? Let’s see…

Microsoft Network 8

18. – 20. April 2018, Neum, Bosnia and Herzegowina | https://www.msnetwork.ba

Sun, sea, company of great experts from the region and over 80 excellent sessions covering most of the aspects of the digital transformation, modern business environments and applications, infrastructure, data science and AI – there is really not much more we can wish for! For me the conference also has a great sentimental value as Bosnia and Herzegowina is the place where I was born. I am always happy to be there, to see some old friends and make new ones. And to give something back. This year I will be talking about Rise of the machines: Benefits of the IT automation.

Microsoft WinDays

24. – 27. April 2018, Poreč, Croatia | https://www.windays.hr

Microsoft WinDays is the largest conference in the region, taking place on the wonderful Adriatic island Sveti Nikola, just beside the city of Poreč, Croatia. This year the conference is bringing more than 100 sessions from all technological and business areas. Combined with a wonderful location, great weather, awesome people and great experts in their fields, it is predestined to be another successful iteration. I will be speaking about Planning and Configuring SharePoint Hybrid, where I will go through the technical considerations and steps for the successful configuration.

European Collaboration Summit 2018

28. – 31. May 2018, Mainz, Germany | http://www.collabsummit.eu

Ah, European Collaboration Summit. Formerly known as SPC Adriatics is, by my humble opinion, the best community event ever made. Since rebranding, it focuses on so much more than just SharePoint – this is a premium Office 365, SharePoint and Azure conference covering Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, Exchange, Skype, Teams and Project. And the list doesn’t stop there. The content is delivered by an impressive speaker line up, visiting from all over the world. 66 MVP speakers, 7 Microsoft corporate speakers, 11 Microsoft Certified Masters and 8 Microsoft regional directors will talk about many topics, from digital transformation, business strategies and issues (and how to deal with them effectively) over to leading-edge developer and IT pro stuff. The conference also features 8 full-day workshops delivered by the world class experts.

And did I mention that we have SharePoint 2019? Representing Microsoft, I will be talking about all the nice things we are bringing to you with the new version of the product. So, if you are around, make sure to jump into my session The next chapter: What’s new in SharePoint 2019?

So, are you going to be around? I am looking forward to meeting you on one of these events!
